Gentry Farm Junior Camp 2009 GENTRY FARM JUNIOR DAY CAMP is run by Allen and Cindy Gentry and is for children who have finished kindergarten through second grade. Activities include fishing, paddle boating, mazes, crafts, archaeology, bug hunting, and much more. Each afternoon is spent at the West Harpeth river (more like a glorified creek) floating in inner tubes and hunting for crawdads. Call Allen and Cindy Gentry to be on the Junior Camp mailing list, information usually goes out each February.
Ages: Finished kindergarten (no exceptions)
through second grade.
Sessions: 1 June 9-12
Gentry Farm Senior Camp 2009 GENTRY FARM SENIOR DAY CAMP has been run by Jimmy Gentry for over 30 years and is for children who have finished third grade through sixth grade. Activities include scavenger hunts, horseshoes, checkers, chores, and river fun. Call Jimmy Gentry (794-3552) to be on the Senior Camp mailing list, information usually goes out each February.
Ages: Finished third grade
through sixth grade.
Cost: $150 per week, $50 deposit required Camp meets Monday - Thursday, no camp Fridays.
Sessions:
1 June 9-12
Camp applications are mailed early each February - returning campers and their siblings are placed first, then open spots are given to first time campers. We will not mail additional applications after the Feb. mailing, but you are welcome to leave info to be placed on our waiting list. Please leave name and address in order to receive an application for next year. Waiting lists names are not carried from one year to the next.
