General

1.  Do you host birthdays or private parties?
No, we do not offer birthday or private parties. You’re welcome
to bring a group on a weekend in October (no reservation required) and spread a blanket under the large tree near our parking lot, but no food or drink is allowed in the activity area.   Please call 794-4368 to reserve the tree area.

 2.  When are you open to the public? 
We are open each weekend only starting the last weekend in September through October, Saturdays 9-5, Sundays 1-5.   The Activity Area is $6 per person (ages 2-65) - pumpkins are extra and prices vary.

3.  Where is Gentry’s Farm?
The farm is located at 1970  New Highway 96 West in Franklin, Tennessee.

4.  Do you loan or rent your hayride wagons for parades, etc.
For insurance reasons, we do not loan or rent our wagons.

 1.  When are you open to the public?   
Gentry’s Farm is open to the public (no reservation required) starting the last weekend of September through October, Saturdays 9-5 and Sundays 1-5.   The Activity Area is $6 per person (ages 2-65) -
pumpkins are extra and prices vary.

2.  Do you grow your own pumpkins?
Yes, we grow about 25 acres of a variety of pumpkins each year.   We don’t have luck with large pumpkins, so we do buy big pumpkins to resale.

 3.  How much do the pumpkins cost?
The pumpkins and gourds vary in price.  It is cheaper to pick-your-own than buy under the tent.

The pumpkins patch is open until it is picked out.  Prices usually range from .50 cents to $10.

4.  What activities are available?
This year the following activities will be open on the weekends. 
Pretend Country Café, Farm play set, Pretend Farmer’s Market, 
“I Spy” Farm set, Hands-on Loom, Lincoln Logs, Horseshoes, Hayrides
through the historic farm, Inside Straw Maze, Friendly Farm Animals, 
Grain Troughs,  Tire Swings, Four Acre Corn Field Maze, and  more.
The cost for the activity area is $5 per person (ages 2-65).

 5.  What are the appropriate ages for these activities?
All ages enjoy strolling and watching the activities of the farm.
Many of the hands-on activities are geared toward the younger 
ages up through elementary ages, because these are the children
that come to the farm for field trips.

6.  Do you sell other fall decorations?
We sell a variety of pumpkins and gourds that we grow on our farm. 
We do not sell craft or decorating items.

7.  Do you sell wholesale?
No, we do not sell wholesale.

8.  Do you have a concession stand?
Yes, the concession stand is operated by the Fourth Avenue Church of Christ Youth Group and all proceeds benefit youth missions.  The concession stand offers fresh 
popcorn, a variety of baked goods, and ice cold soft drink products and water.

9.  Is it okay to bring wagons and or strollers?
Yes, wagons are great for hauling kids and pumpkins!

10.  Do you donate pumpkins for special events?
Sorry, due to overwhelming requests we are no longer able to donate pumpkins for special events.

11.  Do you offer bulk rates for pumpkins?
We usually only have enough pumpkins to market to our customers who visit the farm and not enough to sell and large quantities.

12.  Can we picnic there?  You are welcome to picnic in the parking area,  but please no picnics
in the activity area.

1.  When is your summer day camp?
Our summer day camps run for four weeks each summer, usually 
in June and early July.    Camp is open from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. each day,
Monday – Thursday.

2.  What ages can come to camp?
The Junior Camp is for children who have finished Kindergarten 
through finished Second Grade.  The Senior Camp is for children
who have finished Third Grade through finished Seventh Grade.

3.  How much does the camp cost?
Prices:  Junior Camp $150 per week, subject to change
              Senior Camp $150 per week, subject to change

 4.  What do you do at Gentry Farm summer day camp?

Fishing, mazes, crafts, chores, bug hunting, archery, hayrides, paddle boats, splashing in the river and much more.
