DO YOU HOST BIRTHDAYS, PRIVATE PARTIES OR WEDDINGS?
No, we do not offer birthday, private parties or weddings.
WHEN ARE YOU OPEN TO THE PUBLIC?
The farm is only open to the public on the weekends in the Fall, please check the FALL page for dates and times.. You may only visit the farm with a scheduled group the rest of the year.
WHERE IS GENTRY’S FARM?
The farm is located three miles west of Franklin, Tennessee at 1974 New Highway 96 West, across from Westhaven Subdivision. A map can be found on the CONTACT US page.
CAN WE TAKE FAMILY PICTURES AT THE FARM?
You are welcome to take family pictures when we are open weekends in October (admission will be charged if you want to go into the activity area), but private sitting times are not offered. Please contact us for our Fall professional photographers policy.
DO YOU LOAN OR RENT YOUR HAYRIDE WAGONS FOR PARADES, ETC.?
For insurance reasons, we do not loan or rent our wagons.
CAN WE BRING OUR SCOUT GROUP OR CHURCH YOUTH GROUP TO YOUR FARM?
Yes, you are welcome to come when we are open to the public on the weekends in the Fall and no reservation is required.

CAN I BRING MY PET?
No, due to insurance regulations, little children and other farm animals, please do not bring pets to the farm.
DO YOU GROW YOUR OWN PUMPKINS?
Yes, we grow about 20 acres of a variety of pumpkins each year. We also buy some pumpkins for resale.
HOW MUCH DO THE PUMPKINS COST?
The pumpkins and gourds vary in price. It is cheaper to pick-your-own than buy at the barn. The pumpkins patch is open until it is picked out. Prices in the field vary from week to week, but are generally $5 or less. . Picked prices usually range from $1 to $12. The pick-your-own patch is not inside the activity area so admission is not required to pick-your-own or for retail pumpkin purchases. Please be aware that once our patch is picked out for the season it will be closed. If you would like to pick a pumpkin from the patch we recommend you come earlier in the season.
WHAT ACTIVITIES ARE AVAILABLE?
The following activities will be open on the weekends. Pretend Country Café, Farm play set, Pretend Farmer’s Market, “I Spy” Farm set, Hands-on Loom, Lincoln Logs, Horseshoes, Hayrides through the historic farm, Inside Straw Maze, Friendly Farm Animals, Grain Troughs, Tire Swings, Four Acre Corn Field Maze, and more. The cost for the activity area is $8 per person (ages 2-65). Allow at least one hour, many people stay several hours. Please note last entry times on our FALL page. If you are traveling from far away, please make sure your allow enough time to enjoy all the farm has to offer.
WHAT ARE THE APPROPRIATE AGES FOR THESE ACTIVITIES?
All ages enjoy strolling and watching the activities of the farm. Many of the hands-on activities are geared toward the younger ages up through elementary ages, because these are the children that come to the farm for field trips.
DO YOU SELL OTHER FALL DECORATIONS?
We sell a variety of pumpkins and gourds that we grow on our farm.
We do not sell craft or decorating items.
DO YOU SELL WHOLESALE?
No, we do not sell wholesale.
DO YOU HAVE A CONCESSION STAND?
Yes, the concession stand is operated by the Fourth Avenue Church of Christ Youth Group and all proceeds benefit youth missions. The concession stand offers fresh popcorn, a variety of baked goods, and ice cold soft drinks and water.
IS IT OKAY TO BRING WAGONS AND OR STROLLERS?
Yes, wagons are great for hauling kids and pumpkins!
DO YOU DONATE PUMPKINS FOR SPECIAL EVENTS?
Sorry, due to overwhelming requests we are no longer able to donate pumpkins for special events.
DO YOU OFFER BULK RATES FOR PUMPKINS?
We usually only have enough pumpkins to market to our customers who visit the farm and not enough to sell in large quantities.
CAN WE PICNIC THERE?
You are welcome to picnic (during operating hours only- the farm, including picnic areas closes promptly at posted times). There are picnic tables near the pumpkin barn, but please no picnics in the activity area.
DO YOU HOST BIRTHDAYS OR PRIVATE EVENTS IN THE FALL?
No, we do not offer birthday parties or private events.
WHEN IS YOUR LAST ADMISSION?
The last admission is 45 minutes before closing. We close at 5:00 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays and we close at noon on Mondays. Please make sure you arrive early so that you have enough time to enjoy all the farm has to offer before we close.
DO YOU OFFER GROUP RATES OR DISCOUNTS?
No, we do not offer group rates.
DO YOU CHARGE FOR PARKING?
No, parking is free.
DO YOU HAVE HANDICAPPED PARKING?
Yes, handicapped parking is available and courtesy carts are also available. Just let us know and we will be more than happy to help handicapped customers get where they need to go.
IS SMOKING ALLOWED?
No, smoking is not allowed on the farm.
WHEN IS YOUR SUMMER DAY CAMP?
Our summer day camps run for four weeks each summer, usually in the month of June. For more info, check the SUMMER page. Camp is open from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. each day, Monday – Thursday.
WHAT AGES CAN COME TO CAMP?
The Junior Camp is for children who have finished Kindergarten through finished Second Grade. The Senior Camp is for children who have finished Third Grade through finished Sixth Grade.
HOW MUCH DOES THE CAMP COST?
Junior Camp $225 per week, subject to change
Senior Camp $225 per week, subject to change
WHAT DO YOU DO AT GENTRY FARM SUMMER DAY CAMP?
Fishing, mazes, crafts, chores, bug hunting, archery, hayrides, paddle boats, splashing in the river and much more.
HOW DO I SIGN UP FOR CAMP?
You may join our camp mailing list on our camp page. Emails for registration go out every February and camp fills up very fast. You must be on our mailing life to receive an application.
